I have a PhD from UCLA in Epidemiology. I study health behaviors as well as changes in behaviors and outcomes due to local, state, and federal policies. I am currently involved in a randomized intervention study examining whether smoke-free policies in multi-unit housing can be effective in changing smoking behavior and as result decrease exposure to second-hand smoking among non-smoking residents.
